so this spring has been really good. last saturday i hosted a 90s party which was awesome and hilarious. my roomate and i went to di and came back with overalls, plaid, doc martins, and more. it was funny dressing up and kinda making fun of ourselves all night. we boogied down to nsync, backstreet boys, bbmac, brittany and more. other highlights have been a girls dinner at gurus with my friends for the past few years. it was SO SO good to see them, and i got ti peanut pasta, which brings very high levels of happiness in my belly. I also went to the kelly clarkson concert," my life would have sucked" without that memory. ok dumb joke, whatever. i have also been attending fondant cake decorating class and am an aspiring cake decorator. i work at the white willow rarely as there are too many workers and too few shifts, as it turns out i dont even have any shifts this week. my last paycheck was for 57 dollars, and i had a harsh reality of the fact that there are absolutely no jobs in provo, and i am a little stuck. the good part is that i have learned a newfound appreciation for the value of a dollar and have become much more frugal. not that i was wasteful, but now i dont have any income to waste so it was easier. i have cut back on running big time but have developed a girl crush on the woman's weight lifting room at the golds in orem and lift three times a week for the past three and a half weeks. i also do core more often than i used to. kashi cereal, skinny jeans, blogging (stylemepretty.blogspot), reading the n. 1 ladies detective agency, and jesus the christ on my ipod as i exercise are my new interests. summer semester starts next week and i am excited to have a busier schedule!
